Kona is a warrior from Earthrealm who entered into a new Mortal Kombat tournament to kill Reptile. He first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Degredation.
Information[]
Kona was trained by the secretive Tsukuyomi clan in order to be both a brilliant assassin and top notch warrior in single combat. However, as Kona was returning from an assassination his village was attacked by agents of Shao Khan led by Reptile. Unable to save his clan, Kona vowed vengeance upon Reptile and entered into the next Mortal Kombat tournament.
Story[]
Mortal Kombat: Degredation[]
Kona entered into the Mortal Kombat tournament with the sole intention of killing Reptile. However, before he could confront his enemy, Kona was attacked by Noob Saibot. Fighting with Noob, Kona was injured and forced to retreat. Before the tournament had ended, Kona attacked Reptile while still injured and tried to avenge his clan, but to no avail as Reptile easily dispatched the wounded warrior.

Mortal Kombat: Regeneration[]
Kona descended into the Netherworld, his hatred for Reptile burning even greater than before. So great, in fact, that Kona was able to change into a wraith, becoming Dark Kona. He was then recruited by Shao Khan to join in the fight against the Earthrealm warriors on the conditions that he may face Reptile again. Kona then fought against Sub-Zero who saw Kona as a corrupted shadow of his former self. Realising the depths of his error, Kona turned on Shao Khan and joined the Earthrealm fighters, facing off against Reptile again and this time defeating him though he spared Reptile.
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon[]
Kona participated in the battle of Armageddon, killing Reptile and Motaro. However, he was then in turn defeated by Shinnok and imprisoned within the Netherealm.

Kona Entered The Tournament to Kill Reptile But Was Killed By Him , He Was Revived By Quan Chi And Betrayed HIm Later.
