|In Mortal Kombat|
|Enemies|| Elder Gods|
- Mortal Kombat X: "The history and motives of this mysterious warrior are unknown."
Not much of this character is known but it is clear that his presence symbolizes impending doom. In a interaction with Raiden, Raiden states that his presence feels familiar, and another with Kenshi states that his sword knows who Naberi is. His ending also gave hints that he may be the One Being reincarnated. Like Ermac, he sometimes doesn't use first-person pronouns when speaking about himself, using "we" and "us", indicating he is working with others. An intro with Shinnok reveals that he has an unknown number of brothers but they have yet to be awoken. However, not much else is known, leaving his identity up for speculation.
During his ending we see 4 pictures. At first, Naberi is walking towards the rulers of the Netherrealm. As their names are said, the ending shows the two in fighting stances. Once the narrator says, "however," Naberi has his foot on the neck of a deceased Liu Kang and is lifting and choking Kitana. After the narrator finishes that line, we see Naberi sitting at the throne. The camera slowly pans closer and closer to him as the ending finishes and the eyes of the One Being appear over his as the narrator says the final word.
- Mortal Kombat X: "Shinnok was a failure. With his defeat, the Netherrealm was seized by the two fallen champions, Liu Kang and Kitana. A revenant, however, stands no chance to a true ruler. One such ruler, who's influence grows. One ruler, meant to rule all. None for all, all for one."
